Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide improvisational acting training to students at SMAN 1 Banjar as an effort to improve their acting skills, creativity, and emotional sensitivity in role-playing. The training was conducted in three main stages: body and voice exploration, scene and character improvisation, and mini performance staging. The training method combines a realistic acting approach, Stanislavskian improvisation techniques, and creative exercises typical of modern theater. The results of the activity show that students experienced significant improvements in character understanding, courage to perform, articulation, and the ability to work together in an ensemble. This article concludes that the integration of improvisation techniques in theater learning in schools can be an effective strategy that is relevant to the needs of character education and creativity in the generative era.
