Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

In submitting the manuscript to the PENMASKU, the author must meet the following criteria:

  1. Have the responsibility to ensure only new and original works are submitted.
  2. Do not submit works that have previously been published in other journals.
  3. Must not submit any article under review or consideration by the journal to other journals simultaneously.
  4. Only allowed to publish their work elsewhere after receiving an official rejection from the journal or if their request to withdraw their work is officially accepted by the journal.
  5. Must notify the Editor-in-Chief or publisher of data inaccuracies in their published work so that correction or retraction of the article can be made.
  6. Must make a significant contribution and take responsibility for any shortcomings in their work.

For scriptwriting instructions, the author must pay attention to the template and the following:

  1. A4-sized manuscript with Times New Roman typeface using the template provided.
  2. The margin uses 3 cm on all sides and the distance between the columns from the introduction to the bibliography is 0.5 cm.
  3. Malsimal title 12 words with a font size of 14. Written in 2 languages (Indonesian and English)
  4. The author's name is written without a title placed under the title with a font size of 12 and in bold, middle. Assigned the top letter for the author number ( 1 ) in the name if the agency that houses the co-author is different. If only from one agency should not be given tika.
  5. Affiliates are given a top spot before the text ( 1/ 2 etc.) if the author's agency is more than saatu, Middle Position, italicized. Includes: Study Program, Faculty, Address, Country. The same entity is denoted by the same Tika.
  6. The email is written only the main (first) author with a font size of 12 below the address.
  7. The abstract contains background, objectives, methods, findings, and conclusions, typed no more than 250 words with a font size of 10.
  8. The first abtrak is in Indonesian, and the second abstract is in English. Contains an overview, results, and methods concisely and clearly.
  9. Articles submitted are 10-15 pages long (between 5000-6500 words). Contains results, discussion, supporting aspects of discussion.
  10. The contents of the manuscript are typed with a space of 1, with the font Times New Roman 12. and don't use spaces between paragraphs.
  11. The manuscript is divided into two columns from the introduction to the bibliography with a distance between columns of 0.5 cm.
  12. Use the 6th edition of the APA citation for citations. It is recommended to use Mendeley in the process.
  13. Citations from the journal should be at least 15 of the total references.
  14. For Tables and Figures, annotate the figure/table with numbers and place the title after the numbers.
  15. The manuscript must have a low plagiarism rate of a maximum of 25%. Contact the manager to check.
  16. Pay attention to journal policies and author fees before uploading. Make sure the points in the preparation checklist are met!

Authors who publish articles in PENMASKU agree to the following terms:

  1. The author owns the copyright to the article and grants journal rights to the first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a CC-BY-SA license or The Creative Commons Attribution - Share Alike Licence.
  2. Authors may enter into separate additional contractual agreements for non-exclusive distribution of the published journal version of the work (for example, posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with recognition of its initial publication in this journal.

Authors are allowed and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their websites) before and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and larger citations of published works.
