ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia di SDN Rungkang 02. Berdasarkan metode deskriptif dengan satu perlakuan, penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas 4 sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari kuesioner tentang motivasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia, observasi partisipasi siswa, dan wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam lima indikator, termasuk keterlibatan siswa, relevansi konten pembelajaran, pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kolaborasi dan komunikasi, serta kemandirian siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SD.

Application of Problem Based Learning to Increase Indonesian Learning Motivation at SDN Rungkang 02

ABSTRACT

This study aims to explore the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in increasing Indonesian learning motivation at SDN Rungkang 02. Based on a descriptive method with one treatment, this study involved grade 4 students as research subjects. The research instrument consisted of questionnaires on Indonesian learning motivation, observation of student participation, and interviews with Indonesian teachers. The results of the analysis showed significant improvements in five indicators, including student engagement, relevance of learning content, development of critical thinking skills, collaboration and communication, and student independence. These findings confirm that PBL is effective in increasing student motivation and making a positive contribution to Indonesian learning at the elementary level.
