Abstrak

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dua hal berikut: Pertama, mendeskripsikan struktur teks pidato persuasif siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug. Kedua, mendeskripsikan unsur kebahasaan teks pidato persuasif siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah struktur dan ciri kebahasaan teks pidato persuasif yang telah ditulis oleh siswa kelas IX berjumlah SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug ajaran 2023/2024. Dalam penelitian ini adalah teks pidato persuasif siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug yang ditulis oleh kelas IX yang berjumlah dua puluh lima teks. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Teknik penganalisisan data dalam penelitian ini ada lima, yaitu (1) mengidentifikasi unsur umum data, (2) mengidentifikasi data berdasarkan teori yang menjadi acuan, (3) menganalisis data, (4) menginterpretasikan data yang sudah dianalisis, dan (5) menyimpulkan hasil deskripsi data dengan menulis laporan. Hasil penelitian ini ada dua. Pertama, dilihat dari segi struktur teks pidato persuasif. Struktur teks pidato persuasif terdiri dari pembukaan, isi, dan penutup. Secara umum teks pidato persuasif yang ditulis siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug sudah baik. Siswa sudah mampu menulis teks pidato persuasif berdasarkan ketiga struktur yang sudah ditetapkan. Kedua, dilihat dari segi ciri kebahasaan teks pidato persuasif. Pada teks pidato persuasif yang ditulis siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug, umumnya siswa sudah menggunakan ketiga ciri kebahasaan teks pidato persuasif dengan tepat. Ketiga ciri kebahasaan tersebut, yaitu kalimat aktif, kata tugas, dan kosakata bidang ilmu/istilah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan secara umum bahwa siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug sudah mampu manganalisis struktur dan ciri kebahasaan.

PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING MODEL TO ENHANCE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE SUBJECT "STRUCTURE OF LINGUISTIC RULES IN PERSUASIVE SPEECH TEXT" FOR 9TH GRADE STUDENTS AT SMP NEGERI 1 CILEDUG

 

ABSTRACT

This research aims to describe the following two things: First, describe the text structure of persuasive speeches for class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug. Second, to describe the linguistic elements of persuasive speech texts for class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug. The data in this research are the structure and linguistic characteristics of persuasive speech texts written by class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug for 2023/2024. In this research, the persuasive speech texts of class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug were written by class IX, totaling twenty-five texts. The instrument in this research is the researcher himself. There are five techniques for analyzing data in this research, namely (1) identifying general elements of data, (2) identifying data based on the theory that is used as a reference, (3) analyzing data, (4) interpreting data that has been analyzed, and (5) concluding the results description of data by writing reports. There are two results of this research. First, seen from the perspective of the structure of the text of a persuasive speech. The structure of a persuasive speech text consists of an opening, body and conclusion. In general, the persuasive speech texts written by class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug are good. Students are able to write persuasive speech texts based on the three structures that have been determined. Second, seen from the perspective of linguistic characteristics of persuasive speech texts. In persuasive speech texts written by class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug, generally students have used the three linguistic characteristics of persuasive speech texts correctly. These three linguistic characteristics are active sentences, task words, and scientific vocabulary/terms. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded in general that class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug are able to analyze linguistic structures and characteristics.
