PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) DENGAN METODE TUTOR SEBAYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN KOLABORASI SISWA

Globalisasi memberi dampak yang cukup luas dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam aspek pendidikan dan menuntut kompetensi sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kompetensi utuh, yang disebut kompetensi abad 21. Hal ini dapat tercapai apabila pendidikan di sekolah tidak hanya diarahkan pada kemampuan kognitif peserta didik, tetapi juga keterampilan yang dimiliki peserta didik itu sendiri yang mencakup keterampilan untuk berpikir, komunikatif dan kolaboratif. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan pada mata pelajaran Biologi di kelas XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Losari bahwa pada kegiatan diskusi keterampilan kolaborasi siswa belum nampak, yang menyebabkan kegiatan diskusi berjalan tidak efektif. Oleh sebab itu, guru perlu berupaya untuk mampu meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa dalam kegiatan diskusi agar proses pembelajaran bisa berlangsung secara aktif. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas peneliti ingin mengetahui dampak penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan metode tutor sebaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Losari. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan menggunakan one shoot case study, hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa untuk hasil observasi keterampilan kolaborasi, sikap/karakter siswa, hasil penilaian presentasi, hasil penilaian E-LKPD dan hasil penilain postes menunjukan hasil dalam kategori baik, dimana model pembelajaran Problem Based Learing (PBL) dengna metode tutor sebaya mampu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Globalization has had quite a broad impact on various aspects of life, including the educational aspect and demands the competence of human resources who have complete competence, which is called 21st century competence. This can be achieved if education in schools is not only directed at students' cognitive abilities, but also the skills possessed by the students themselves which include thinking, communicative and collaborative skills. Based on the results of observations made in the Biology subject in class Therefore, teachers need to make efforts to be able to improve students' collaboration skills in discussion activities so that the learning process can take place actively. Based on the background above, the researcher wants to know the impact of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the peer tutoring method to improve the collaboration skills of class XI MIPA 5 students at SMA Negeri 1 Losari. The type of research carried out was pre-experimental research using one shot case study. The results of the research carried out were that the results of observing collaboration skills, student attitudes/character, presentation assessment results, E-LKPD assessment results and post-test assessment results showed results in good category, where the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model using the peer tutoring method is able to improve students' collaboration skills in the learning process.
