IMPLEMENTASI PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA POWERPOINT INTERAKTIF DAN PAPAN DIAGRAM

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran menggunakan Problem Based Learning berbantuan media PowerPoint interaktif dan alat peraga papan diagram untuk meningkatkan keaktifan, pemahaman dan kemampuan numerasi peserta didik yang ditinjau dari hasil belajar peserta didik kelas 1 SD Negeri 1 Tambaksari. Berdasarkan observasi awal peneliti, pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru dilakukan dengan ceramah, penugasan, tanya jawab, dan diskusi klasikal. Proses pembelajaran tersebut memberikan hasil belajar yang rendah. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah sebanyak 15 orang peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang disusun berupa modil ajar, lembar observasi kegiatan guru, lembar kerja peserta didik, lembar penilaian tes formatif pada siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian yang pada siklus I terdapat 66,7% peserta didik yang mencapai nilai di atas KKM sedangkan 33,3% lainnya masih belum mampu mencapai KKM. Sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh hasil dari implementasi Problem Based Learning berbantuan media PowerPoint interaktif dan alat peraga papan diagram ini sebanyak 100% peserta didik mampu mencapai nilai diatas KKM. Hal ini menandakan penerapan model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh pada peningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dan pemahaman serta kemampuan nmerasi peserta didik ditinjau dari hasil belajarnya. Hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran berfokus pada peserta didik sehingga peserta didik mampu mengeksplorasi lebih banyak pengalaman secara langsung dalam pembelajaran dengan desain yang kontekstual.

IMPLEMENTATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING USED BY INTERACTIVE POWERPOINT AND DIAGRAM BOARDS

 

ABSTRACT

This research aims to describe the implementation of learning using Problem Based Learning assisted by interactive PowerPoint media and diagram board teaching aids to increase students' activeness, understanding and numeracy abilities as seen from the learning outcomes of class 1 students at SD Negeri 1 Tambaksari. Based on the researcher's initial observations, the learning carried out by the teacher was carried out with lectures, assignments, questions and answers, and classical discussions. This learning process provides low learning outcomes. Therefore, researchers apply the Project Based Learning learning model. This research is included in classroom action research using a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The research subjects were 15 students. The research instruments prepared were in the form of teaching models, teacher activity observation sheets, student worksheets, formative test assessment sheets in cycle I and cycle II. The research results showed that in cycle I there were 66.7% of students who achieved a score above the KKM, while the other 33.3% were still unable to reach the minimum completeness criteria. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the results obtained from the implementation of Problem Based Learning with the help of interactive PowerPoint media and diagram board teaching aids were 100% of students able to achieve scores above the minimum completeness criteria. This indicates that the application of the Problem Based Learning model has an effect on increasing student activity and students' understanding and numerical abilities in terms of their learning outcomes. This is because learning focuses on students so that students are able to explore more direct experiences in learning with a contextual design.
