ABSTRAK

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara ceramah pidato siswa kelas XI DKV 1 di SMK Negeri 1 Luragung melalui penerapan metode Problem Based Learning pada materi Ceramah Pidato. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI DKV 1 di SMK Negeri 1 Luragung yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari siswa, guru, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, tes, dokumentasi dan portofolio. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa melalui penerapan metode Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara ceramah pidato siswa kelas XI DKV 1 di SMK Negeri 1 Luragung pada materi ceramah pidato Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Hal ini terbukti ada peningkatan pada siklus I dan Siklus II. Sebelum diterapkan metode Problem Based Learning nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 70 dengan presentase ketuntasan 36,11%. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas kelas di atas KKM yaitu 80,75. Jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas adalah 19 dan jumlah peserta didik yang tidak tuntas adalah 6. Presentase        ketuntasan sebesar 76% dan presentase tidak tuntas sebesar 24%. Jumlah siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas KKM sudah lebih dari 75%, sehingga dikatakan indikator ketercapaian      hasil belajar siswa sudah tercapai. Selama penerapan metode pembelajaran problem based learning dengan materi ceramah pidato memperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas kelas di atas KKM yaitu 87,25. Jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas adalah 22 dan jumlah peserta didik yang tidak tuntas dalah 3. Presentase ketuntasan sebesar 88% dan presentase tidak tuntas sebesar 12%, jumlah siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas KKM sudah lebih dari 75%, sehingga dikatakan indikator ketercapaian hasil belajar siswa sudah tercapai. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Penataan Barang Dagangan siswa kelas XI DKV 1 di SMK Negeri 1 Luragung.

APPLICATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL ON SPEECH LECTURE SPEAKING SKILLS MATERIAL TO IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF GRADE XI DKV 1 STUDENTS

ABSTRACT

The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of speech speaking skills for class XI DKV 1 students at SMK Negeri 1 Luragung through the application of the Problem Based Learning method to the Speech Lecture material. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were class XI DKV 1 students at SMK Negeri 1 Luragung, totaling 25 students. Data sources come from students, teachers and documents. Data collection techniques are observation, tests, documentation and portfolio. The results of the research show that through the application of the Problem Based Learning method it can improve the learning outcomes of speaking skills in class XI DKV 1 students at SMK Negeri 1 Luragung on speech lecture material for the 2022/2023 academic year. This was proven to be an increase in Cycle I and Cycle II. Before implementing the Problem Based Learning method the average class score was 70 with a completion percentage of 36.11%. In cycle I the average class score above the KKM was 80.75. The number of students who completed was 19 and the number of students who did not complete was 6. The percentage of complete was 76% and the percentage of incomplete was 24%. The number of students who scored above the KKM was more than 75%, so it is said that the indicator of achievement of student learning outcomes has been achieved. During the implementation of the problem based learning method with speech lecture material, the class average score was above the KKM, namely 87.25. The number of students who completed was 22 and the number of students who did not complete was 3. The percentage of complete was 88% and the percentage of incomplete was 12%, the number of students who got a score above the KKM was more than 75%, so it is said to be an indicator of achievement of learning outcomes students have achieved. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the Problem Based Learning method can improve the learning outcomes of Merchandise Arrangement for class XI DKV 1 students at SMK Negeri 1 Luragung.
